Students from affected by conflict in South Kordofan, currently living in Yida refugee camp over the border in Unity state, in South Sudan, complained of the lack of educational resources available to them.

A source said the students were placed in Farien secondary school in the state, but are missing teaching staff and curriculum materials.

They students also said they do no receive adequate food during school hours.

The source appealed to Unity state authorities to respond to the needs of the students.
