A truck knocked dead a child of 10 years old along the Bilpham-Road in Juba on Monday.

An eyewitness told Radio Tamazuj that the child was riding his bicycle along Bilpham road near Meidan Simba when the heavy truck hit him at around 3:00 p.m.

The accident occurred when the heavy truck was reportedly coming at high speed and could not avoid knocking the child.

The truck ran over the child crushing his head, the source said. The driver was arrested and taken to a police post.
