UN predicts 2 million in South Sudan will need food aid
The UN issued a report on Wednesday warning that the ongoing conflict in South Sudan could cause serious food insecurity and hunger for two million people.
The report published by the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation and World Food Programme, said if conflict continues, causing displacement and rising food prices in the region, the number requiring urgent food assistance could double from one million currently surviving on food aid.
