President Salva Kiir, who doubles as chairman of the SPLM party, has called for convening of the 4th SPLM National Liberation Council in Juba.

“The SPLM chairman, comrade Salva Kiir Mayardit, invites all members of the National Liberation Council to attend THE 4th SPLM NLC meeting under the theme, Reconciliation, Peace and Unity,” reads the invitation seen by Radio Tamazuj.

The meeting will be held at Freedom Hall in Juba from 3-5 May.

The president invites all presidential advisers, ministers, deputy ministers, chairpersons of independent commissions, deputy chairpersons of independent commissions to attend the opening session of the meeting.
