Jubek state to hold peace and development conference tomorrow

The government of Jubek State plans to hold a youth conference that will include government officials to discuss issues pertaining to peace and development in the state, a state official said.

In a press statement in Juba on Tuesday, Salah Rajab Bonduqi, Minister of Information in Jubek State, said a one-day conference which will begin on Thursday, will include the three counties of Jubek State.

“We expect all the stakeholders to participate. We want to tell our citizens that they should continue cleaning their places. The conference will kick off on 27 April at Nyakuron Cultural Centre and we expect also some presentation to be given to the young people on peace and development for Juba as a capital and for the whole of South Sudan,”said Bonduqi.
