Boma governor sacks three commissioners, appoints successors

The governor of South Sudan’s Boma state governor has issued a decree sacking three county commissioners in greater Pochalla area and appointed their successors on Tuesday last week.

Governor Ismail Konyi, according to a gubernatorial decree obtained by Radio Tamazuj, removed Jay Adingora Alual, commissioner of Pochalla County, Ojulu Omot Obongo, commissioner of Otiugo County and Angelo Obang, commissioner of Burator County.

In another order Konyi appointed Adam Omot Obongo as the new commissioner of Otiugo County and Opiew Metho as the new commissioner of Burator County. Motor Ochan was also appointed as the new commissioner for Pochalla County replacing Jay Adingora  Alual.

No reasons were cited for the new changes in the area.
