Deng Deng Akuei, governor of Aweil East state in South Sudan has issued a decision sacking the mayor of Malualkon town.

Governor Deng, according to the order which was announced on the local radio station, removed Teresa Abak Piol from her position. No new appointment was made and no reason was cited for changes.

In another order, the governor removed Yargot county commissioner and appointed former Aweil town mayor, Peter Lual Lual Ayok as the new county commissioner. No new assignments were given to the former town mayor and county commissioner.
