The offices of the Zain mobile telephone company was hit by artillery or a rocket propelled grenade round on Friday evening during the fighting in the city, a source said.
The building was hit on the upper west side, which contain the marketing, logistics, and procurement offices.
No one was injured as the staff had already left the building due to insecurity.
The source said the switch room was not harmed, “otherwise, the network wouldn’t be working now.”
