Refugees from Blue Nile, who sought refuge in the Yusuf Batil camp in Maban County, Upper Nile, express their happiness due to the stabilizing health conditions in the camp.
Omda Ahmed Mahjoub, head of the Yusuf Batil camp, told Radio Tamazuj the camp became stable concerning health issues. He added there was a decline in mortality rate.
Medicins San Frontiers (MSF), the medical organization working at the camp, announced weeks ago that camps for Blue Nile refugees suffer from dire health and humanitarian conditions. MSF said that these camps record high rates of mortality among children and elderly.
