Youths aid flood victims in Damazin

The chairman of the ‘Madad’ Youths Group in Blue Nile State of Sudan Mohamed Abdullah revealed that group of youths have joined together to distribute packages to help flood-affected people in different residential neighbourhoods.

The chairman of the ‘Madad’ Youths Group in Blue Nile State of Sudan Mohamed Abdullah revealed that group of youths have joined together to distribute packages to help flood-affected people in different residential neighbourhoods.

“We have distributed shoes and clothes to the affected people in different residential areas of Damazin town, the capital of Blue Nile state,” Abdullah explained.

Speaking on Radio Tamazuj, the youth leader also commended the solidarity of the citizens in assisting needy people in Hai Al-Shehid Afendi, Hai Zubeir and Hai Al-Mak.

The youth leader also said that they had a dispute with another official youth group: “We quarrelled and exchanged words with a group of the Sudanese youth union when they attempted to force our team to wear their uniforms, which we refused that.”
