The Youth Cooperation to Advocate for Abyei, working in collaboration with the Sudan University of Science and Technology, have stated that they intend to send a convoy to Abyei in the coming days and will be carrying non-food items.

The representative, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Radio Tamazuj from the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, that the convoy is part of an exercise based on recommendations from a previous conference on‘peaceful coexistence’, which was held at the University of Sudan in February.

People from various backgrounds, including health workers, youth and students, are expected to participate in the visit and they will be carrying non-food items to aid the people of Abyei.
