The Governor of South Sudan’s Yei River State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has sacked the state’s commissioner general for revenue and investment Michael Amule on Friday.

No immediate replacement was made. The gubernatorial decree did not cite any reason which necessitated the removal of Mr. Amule.
