Traditional leaders and sheikhs in collaboration with humanitarian organizations working in Maban County in South Sudan’s Upper Nile State organized a workshop on conflict mitigation on Tuesday.
The event was organized inside Bunj Secondary School and attended by influential leaders from the native administration and representatives of the Blue Nile refugees. The workshop was scheduled to conclude today, Thursday.
The workshop aims at conflict mitigation and diffusion of the tension between the host community and the Blue Nile refugees in Maban County, according to participants.
