Police in Turalei in Warrap State are investigating a woman accused of killing her husband after a domestic quarrel last week.
According, to Turalei police investigator Capt. Ayii Deng Ayii, the woman is suspected of having hit her husband at night during a domestic quarrel without elaborating on the cause of the quarrel. The man died after being rushed to a local health facility last week and woman was arrested on Sunday.
“Yes we have arrested this woman on Sunday for investigation and what we know is that she fought with her husband at home and she hit him on the neck with a stick and when the husband was rushed to the hospital he died there,” Ayii explained
Ayii also revealed that there is another woman under police investigation and after being suspected of having a hand in the burning of her 8 years old child.
“The child was severely burned and when the mother she refused to talk to us. So we will allow her to be in the hospital with the child until the treatments of the child finish and then we shall bring her back for more investigations,” he said.
