Police authorities in the disputed area of Abyei have arrested a young man suspected of killing a 35 year-old woman last week.
Deng Kuol, Aguok County police director told Radio Tamazuj that the woman’s body was discovered at her farmland in Wun Bith.
The 25-year old suspect is accused of beating the deceased identified as Amon Longar in the head causing her instant death.
The police believe that the unfortunate death followed a dispute between the two. He revealed that investigations have been launched.
