A lightning strike killed a woman and her three children during a storm in Bidi camp for South Sudanese refugees in neighboring Uganda on Sunday evening, a representative of the South Sudanese refugees said.

James Lado, who is representing the refugees at the camp, told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that the mother and her three children died due to being struck by the lightning.

Lado extended his deepest condolences to families of the victims.
