The embassies of Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, the UK, and the US, as well as the Delegation of the European Union, Friday expressed their deep concern over the clashes and the risk of increased violence in Upper Nile State.
They said in a press release that they were convinced that the Juba-based leaders from all parties, have the ability to deescalate the situation in a responsible and peaceful manner.
“We urge them to do so and to resolve tensions through dialogue,” reads the press release, which is available online.
