The governor of Sudan’s West Kordofan State Ahmed Ajab Al-Fiya has threatened to dismiss any state official who fails to deliver services to the citizens.
While addressing his council of ministers meeting on Wednesday in Al-Fula town, Al-Fiya said he expects all state officials to work to provide services to the population.
He also pledged to fight corruption and corrupt officials so that all state revenue is geared towards provision of services.
In other news, the governor instructed local authorities in the state to treat South Sudanese refugees there as Sudanese citizens especially in service delivery. He also warned them against misappropriating humanitarian assistance provided by international organisation meant for the refugees.
