WBGS Governor removes and appoints some ministers

Western Bahr El Ghazal State Governor Rizig Zacharia Hassan has decreed the removal and appointment of two ministers.

Western Bahr El Ghazal State Governor Rizig Zacharia Hassan has decreed the removal and appointment of two ministers.

State Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Morris Yel and the Minister of Labor, Public Service and Human Resources Development Rita Andrea Tito were removed.

The governor also issued another decree appointing Michael Madut Chan into the education docket and promoting Monica Sabino Madut into the ministerial position for labour while removing her from her role as Advisor for Cooperatives and Rural Transformation.   

Hassan also relieved Rita Andrea Tito from a ministerial position and appointed him as State   Advisor on Cooperative and Rural Transformation.

The Governor did not cite the reason why other Ministers and Advisors changed positions, however, he explained the removal of Morris Yel Akol on the basis of “frequent and intentional absence” from duty since his appointment on 9 September 2013.
