Wau graduates new batch of police forces

South Sudan’s Wau State has graduated a new batch of 188 police officers. This is the second batch of police officers to graduate in the state since 2005.

Addressing the new graduates on Tuesday, Wau State Police Commissioner, Chol Thuch said the new batch will be deployed across the state to maintain security.

He called on them to cooperate with civilians as they carry out their duties.

The top police officer also called on the citizens to respect and cooperate with police forces for security to be maintained in the state.
