Wau governor sacks four ministers

Andrea Mayar Achor, governor of Wau state has removed from office four ministers and the government Secretary General in a gubernatorial order issued during the weekend.

Andrea Mayar Achor, governor of Wau state has removed from office four ministers and the government Secretary General in a gubernatorial order issued during the weekend. The order opened opportunities for politicians from different communities in the state seeking recommendations from the party and their communities for appointment as new officials in the new administration.

The affected ministers, according to the order, include Angelina Anthony Ubur, Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement, Maka Bushra Mohamed, Minister of Information, Youth and Sports, Victor Kon Dimo, Minister of Finance and Santino Uyu from the Ministry of Agriculture.
No immediate replacements were made. In another order, the governor relieved government Secretary General Silvano Udo and appointed him as State Director for Relief and Rehabilitation.The former secretary general was replaced with Achor Modesto as new government Secretary General
