Citizens in Wau town in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal State are reporting poor services of the Zain, MTN, and Vivacell networks for more a month in the area.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, several mobile subscribers said the three local operators are providing poor telecommunications services. They added that MTN Company had topped working since the last three weeks.
A mobile subscriber criticized the service providers for not communicating the problem to them. “We have been affected by the poor network provided by the mobile companies inside the town” he said.
“I am using three networks, ZAIN, MTN and Vivacell, especially MTN for Internet connection but it has not been working for one month now” he added.
The citizen called on the state government to put pressure on the three companies to provide good services to their clients. He added that there are reports about malfunctioned antennas due to fuel shortages.
