Authorities in South Sudan’s Wau State have urged displaced people who are living in the UN camp to return to their homes.
The deputy governor of Wau state, Zachariah Joseph Garang, on Saturday appealed to displaced families to return to their homes during a voluntary return campaign organized by the Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO).
CEPO’s coordinator in Bahr el Ghazal region, Stephen Robo Musa, said the project aims at bringing citizens and government together for dialogue.
Robo added that the next phase will bring together citizens and security organs next week.
