Sudanese citizens in various residential areas in the capital Khartoum have reported intermittent power outage and water shortages lasting for several hours.

A source told Radio Tamazuj that the water shortage prompted citizens at Al Fatihab, Salha and Umbada residential areas in Omdurman town to protest.

Meanwhile citizens at Al Sahafa, Jabra, Al Azhari, and Salama areas south of Khartoum have reportedly been grumbling about deteriorating basic services.
