Sudanese citizens in various residential areas in the capital’s twin city of Omdurman are reporting water supply crisis these days in the area.

According to multiple sources, water shortages have been reported in Al Thoura 1, 2 and 3, Medinat En Nil, Al Fetihab and Al Salha residential areas.

The complaining residents pointed out that the water cut caused immense suffering of families in the area.

For his part, the state minister of planning promised to solve the problem, saying they are repairing water pipelines in the area.
