Warrap health minister reports poor health services

Warrap Minister of Health Nyanwut Mayen Kuol says poor roads and lack of trained medical personnel are affecting health services delivery in her state.

She told Radio Tamazuj that women and children were suffering due to the shortage of obstetricians and paediatricians, saying that the approved budget is not sufficient to construct health facilities.

The health minister said there are malnutrition cases in Warrap, but noted that she is awaiting full reports from health organizations on the matter.

She blamed the current economic crisis on the ongoing war in South Sudan.
