South Sudanese Defense Minister says the ongoing war in South Sudan must come to an end.

Kuol Manyang Juuk who was addressing a gathering in Yambio on Wednesday said war has destroyed the country.

“I want to say this, war is very ugly. I went to Bentiu and Malakal all were destroyed. I was here (Yambio) in 2002, today Yambio is destroyed. Not only Yambio but entire South Sudan is destroyed by war. War must stop,” he said.

Manyang said South Sudanese are responsible for the destruction but they must now embrace the golden chance to bring peace to South Sudan in the talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
