The press secretary of the country’s vice president Wani Igga, who has been working with him for a long period of time, has suddenly resigned.

David Mayen Dengdit quit on Friday for unclear reasons. It remains unclear whether Vice President James Wani Igga accepted Mayen’s resignation or not.

Mayen copied his resignation letter to other directors in the office of the vice president. He had been Igga’s close associate for nearly 10 years.

He stated in his resignation letter seen by Radio Tamazuj that there is always an end to every journey.

“I, therefore, make my resignation with immediate effect from March 30, 2018, hoping that your revolutionary commitment to our country may be a positive influence on finding the path for which millions have made the ultimate sacrifice,” Mayen wrote.
