W Kordofan youths threaten to resign over ruling party’s anti-corruption stand

A group of local youths who are members of the National Congress Party (NCP) in Sudan’s West Kordofan State are threatening to resign over the party’s stand against corruption in the state.

The comes after the state governor decided to reinstate civil servants who had been dismissed after a probe revealed that they used forged documents to secure their positions.

A source told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the state governor previously promised to review all contracts signed with companies that failed to implement development projects in the state.

The local youths accused the state governor of being reluctant to fight against corruption in the state.
