Authorities in Sudan’s West Kordofan state arrested seven traders Sunday and are holding them in an undisclosed location out of contact to their families, relatives said.

The traders were arrested while transporting fuel from Al-Mugadam to Al-Meiram along the border between Sudan and South Sudan, the families said.

Family members called on the authorities to reveal the whereabouts of the men, saying that the government will be held responsible for their safety.
