The Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) in the contested territory of Abyei between Sudan and South Sudan has kicked off on Tuesday.

The campaign which will continue for several days helps immunize against polio, night blindness and worms diseases. The EPI office called upon mothers to make sure that their children are vaccinated against the three diseases.
