The United Nations Mission in South Sudan is currently repairing the road between the UN base near Jebel and Custom Market road, spokesperson Ariane Quentier said.
The UNMISS Japanese contingent started their work on 18 January and are expected to finish by mid-March, she said.
“It’s starting from UN House Jebel, passing through the National Security and all the way to Yei road,” Quentier said. “The objective is to maintain this main road between Yei and Jebel road and facilitate transportation in Juba.”
