At least four people were killed and another wounded in an attack by unknown gunmen in Apuk North County in Gogrial State on Sunday, a top state official said.

The governor of Gogrial State Victor Atem Atem told Radio Tamazuj on Thursday that the incident took place at Agang camp when the four victims were fishing.

He pointed out that the motive behind the killing remains unclear.  The state official noted that SPLA soldiers have been deployed to the area to apprehend the perpetrators.
