A university student was found hanged to death with his legs tied in the north of Mujlad town in Sudan’s West Kordofan State on Friday.

Several sources identified the body to Radio Tamazuj as Ahmed Al Majid Issa from Nyala town in South Darfur. He was studying engineering at Al Salam University.

The family took the body to Al Obeid Hospital in order to identify the cause of death, the sources said.

“Up to now we don’t know whether he was killed or he committed suicide,” one source said.
