The administration of the University of Bahr el-Ghazal on Tuesday announced several key appointments and promotions in line with Article 16 (a) of the University Act, 2012.
In order No. 33/ 202 seen by Radio Tamazuj, the Institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Erneo Bernardo Ochi, appointed Mr. Remijo Hassan Serverio as Interim Dean of the College of Law with the status of Assistant Professor.
Another order No. 34/202, promoted Nyanawut Mayen Kuol from a teaching staff assistant to a Dean of the College of Nursing.
Separately, the vice chancellor promoted Nikeroma Banaya Surur who was a Lecturer to Assistant Professor, and maintained him as the Dean of the Institute of Public and Environmental Science, according to order No. 35/202.
The changes were said to be per orders disclosed to the International Cooperation and Alumni Affairs of the University of Bahr el Ghazal.
These are the first major changes since the appointment of Dr. Erneo Bernardo Ochi as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Bahr el Ghazal.
