At least two people were killed by unknown criminals in the contested area of Abyei between Sudan and South Sudan on Sunday.
The incident reportedly took place when two Abyei natives went out to hunt in the neighbourhood of Lou village.
The victims were identified as Deng Mawut and Ayuel Man Kiir. Sources from the area told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the local authorities claim to have already found some documents that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
Police say they found a school form at the scene of the crime bearing the name of Mohamed Adlan, who is believed to be one of the perpetrators, according to the same source.
But Radio Tamazuj has not been able to independently verify the information about the incident in the Abyei area.
