About 50 traffic police officers from Jubek State are expected to undergo intensive trainings on traffic and road safety management supported by UNDP’s Access to Justice and Rule of Law project on Monday.
In a statement extended to Radio Tamazuj, the UN agency said the training would focus on training traffic police officers with specialized knowledge and skills of administering first aid assistance to traffic road accident victims, investigation of traffic offenses, and interpretation of road signs and traffic lights.
Juba city is increasingly experiencing urbanisation and expansion in human activity including increased road usage.
