Upper Nile State Governor Simon Kun Puoc has issued a decree relieving Ulang County Commissioner Peter Chol, effective 22 July.

Chol had been serving in the post since 2010 before the independence of South Sudan. 

The governor has appointed Garkuoth Miem Ngok as the new commissioner.
