Two local youth died two days being released from military intelligence custody in Damazin town in Sudan’s Blue Nile state, multiple sources said.
The sources told Radio Tamazuj that the two youth who died were tortured inside the prison before being released over the past two days. They pointed out that they were taken to hospital, but they passed away later while receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, military intelligence officers arrested other two youth identified as al-Saudi Jaden and Ramadan Omar in Damazin town on Wednesday.
Separately, the same sources confirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces arrested over 20 people in Samsur area last week and that seven people among them were released later.
They revealed that the detainees inside the prison can reach 100, saying all of them are civilians. The detainees are currently living in bad humanitarian conditions, according to the same sources.
