Two women injured in South Kordofan bombing

A Sudanese warplane dropped two bombs on a village in the Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan today, injuring two women, according to the SPLM-N.

A Sudanese warplane dropped two bombs on a village in the Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan today, injuring two women, according to the SPLM-N.

The Sukhoi jet today flew over the in area of Dar village in Buram Locality between about 11:30 and 12:00, dropping two bombs.

Arno Lodi, spokesman of SPLM-North, the rebel movement controlling the area, told Radio Tamazuj the bombs burned six houses and injured two women, Naeema Eissa (60) and Shadia Tia (25).

He said that people ran from their homes fearing for more bombings.
