Meetings of the Joint Border Demarcation commitee between Sudan and South Sudan are continuing in Khartoum under the auspices of the African Union.
In a statement issued by the committee yesterday, the meeting was addressed by the Minister at the Sudanese Presidency El Rashid Haroun and South Sudan Ambassador in Khartoum Mayan Dut Wol, besides the representative of the African Union Mahmud Khan.
The joint committee also listened to speeches of the co-chairs from Khartoum and Juba. The next meeting is expected to discuss many functions provided for in the Joint Cooperation Agreement signed by the two Sudans in September 2012.
