Police authorities in Torit State have arrested two SPLA soldiers suspected of abducting children at Dumak residential area in Torit town.
Police investigator Karlo Iyabo told Radio Tamazuj that the two suspects were caught when they tried to buy biscuits to lure four children on Saturday.
“I sent two CID there by bike to rescue the situation quickly and they brought two suspects. One is SPLA division 7 1st Lt. Leju Kirir 45 years from Boma state and the second is SPLA Maj. John Rinato Oduho 50 years from Torit East County,” he explained.
According to Iyabo, this is the first time suspected abductors have been arrested in the town.
