Two SPLA-N soldiers killed, 12 injured in clashes with Sudan govt in Blue Nile

The military spokesman for the Sudan People's Liberation Army – North (SPLA-N) Arno Ngthelo Lodi says that two of their soldiers were killed and 12 injured in clashes between SPLA-N and the Sudanese Armed Forces in the area of Kalgo mountains in Blue Nile State.

He said in statement to Radio Tamazuj that SPLA-N forces from Division Four clashed with the Sudanese armed forces since Wednesday and continued for two days, adding that their forces managed to defeat them, destroyed two tanks and left dozen dead in the side of the government forces.

Meanwhile, other sources confirmed to Radio Tamazuj that Damazin Military Hospital received a number of injured soldiers from the Sudanese Armed Forces. Radio Tamazuj was not able to reach the Sudanese Armed forces for comment.
