At least two South Sudanese nationals died in a road accident on Friday in the town of Nekemsi, west of Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa.

At least two South Sudanese nationals died in a road accident on Friday in the town of Nekemsi, west of Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa.

According to an eye witness, the two along with six others who were injured when the bus they were travelling in crashed into a valley.

The source told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday that the bus was travelling from Gambella region to Addis Ababa adding that those who died include a woman and a young man. The injured were rushed to Nekemsi hospital for medical attention.

Simon Ngut Kuon, identified the deceased woman as his sister Elizabeth Nyakeat Kuon.
