Korean Sport Mission for South Sudan has chosen the football player Dominik Martin (forward) and Emmanuel Marc (center) of the Young Stars Football Academy in Juba to study in Korea for three years.
The boys will train both athletically and academically in the east Asian country.
The head of Young Stars Academy Bilal Felix said the Young Stars program began in 2012 for children from the ages of nine years to 13 years. They are taught how to play football.
He thanked Korean Sport Mission for South Sudan for selecting these players to study and learn football in Korea.
The Director of Korean Sport Mission for South Sudan Kee Choon Kim said that Martin and Emmanuel will join Shima International School. He noted that Korea recently contributed to the accession of South Sudan to the International Olympic Committee by assisting sports such as football, basketball, handball, volleyball, table tennis, athletics and taekwondo.
