At least two criminals were reported killed and others injured in separate robbery incidents in Wau the capital of South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal state.

At least two criminals were reported killed and others injured in separate robbery incidents in Wau the capital of South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal state.

Brig. General Salah Issa, head of the police patrol in Wau, told Radio Tamazuj that a group of thieves broke into a forex bureau at night. He revealed that one of the residents in the area shot at one of the thieves who later died in Wau Teaching Hospital on Wednesday.

The senior police officer said another group of robbers stormed Eyat Company in order steal fuel. He added that security guards of the company shot at two of the robbers and that one of them died later in the hospital, while another wounded criminal is now receiving treatment.
