Two police vehicles were destroyed when officers clashed with nomads over land disputes at Kokari area in Sudan’s Sennar State on Sunday.

A police officer who preferred anonymity told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the two vehicles were mounted with heavy machine guns. Meanwhile, a nomad accused the police of using excessive force during the clashes in Kokari area.
