At least two people were shot dead allegedly by an SPLA soldiers in Paloich area in South Sudan’s Upper Nile State on Friday evening.
Eyewitnesses told Radio Tamazuj that an SPLA soldier killed two people including the owner of a restaurant after a quarrel over an unpaid bill. Another citizen also sustained injuries.
The incident reportedly stirred up fear among local residents forcing them to flee from the market. Police authorities have announced that they arrested the perpetrator and that he is under investigation.
