At least people were killed by the Ambororo nomadic tribe in Tambura County of South Sudan’s Western Equatoria State last week, a local official said.

Natali Cosmos Dungura, the county Executive Director, told Radio Tamazuj on Monday the two were shot and killed while returning from the bush.

He identified the two men as Dominic Sukutu and the other as Misa.

According the local official, the Sudanese nomadic tribe also clashed with the South Sudanese People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF).

He further pointed out that a security strategy has been put in place to monitor if the group has completely left the country or not.

Natali warned citizens against moving in the bush, saying the state government is striving to maintain peace and security in the county.
