Two people killed in South Darfur livestock theft

At least two people were killed on Tuesday in El Radom Locality of South Darfur State in a fight over cattle theft, according a local source and an official.

At least two people were killed on Tuesday in El Radom Locality of South Darfur State in a fight over cattle theft, according a local source and an official.

El Radum Locality Commissioner Mohamed Gadim said that clashes turned bloody in a fight between the locals and sheep raiders, resulted in the killing of two people and another two wounded.

The clashes between the two groups would have become worse if the government had not intervene quickly, he said.

He pointed out that the security situation has returned to normal after government intervention in collaboration with the native administration.
